The Domaine de Merlac is an old 18th century wine-producing estate situated above the villages of Rieussec and Saint-Jean de Minervois in the heart of the Pays du Minervois.
This small hamlet, made up of a number of stone buildings, was entirely restored in 2018 with the charm and taste of traditional materials : stone and wood.
In the heart of nature
Situated in the heart of a natural realm of more than 500 hectares, this extensive estate boasts magnificent countryside as well as offering all the comforts of an exclusive property of character. The charm of the property together with the surroundings and the climate all make this an exceptional location.
The new owners decided in 2019 to renew the life of this former wine-producing estate by planting a hectare of Chardonnay. Below, the landscape has been newly completed with a stand of some 40 olive trees.
In addition, a kitchen garden and henhouse will enhance the pleasure of visitors who will be able to enjoy fresh, natural products from the Merlac estate.

Throughout your stay, the Domain makes available daily and on demand a housekeeping service that includes all aspects of kitchen management, laundry and any additional cleaning that may be necessary.

The large swimming pool with its unrestricted view over the estate and its poolhouse equipped with summer kitchen makes the perfect place for people to get together.
The tennis and multisports court, the billiard and pool tables, table football and ping-pong provide entertainment for children and adults alike.
The extensive walking routes are ideal for mountain bike rides and trail running.
There is pleasure here, therefore, for everyone, combining rest, exploration, gastronomy and walks along the numerous footpaths that cross the Domain and give access to the hilltops, from which there are unrestricted views of the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees.
